Not bad for £40, I love it!!
Very happy - got it for my brother's 40th but needed to make sure it was in good working order before putting it away.
To save your game, tap Select+L1/R1
To retrieve your saved game, load your game of choice, tap Select+X, go down to 'save states' and then 'load state'.
To go back to the main menu from your game (instead of powering it off and on again), tap Select Start and it'll ask for you to hit Select Start again to confirm.
Presently, the console is functioning adequately, aside from a single button that is stuck. However, I am in communication with someone regarding this matter, which is satisfactory.
Great way to spend a few hours reliving your childhood. Great selection of games albeit many are duplicated and theres issues with saving some games. Although 1st thing you should do is remove the SD card and create a copy of the files on your PC/laptop.
Downsides: Build quality is cheap and the position of the left joystick makes it uncomfortable to use. The biggest problem though is that there's no instructions and the "guide" they provide is no wear near useful.
They need to produce a proper manual, explaining what the settings are and how to use them as there's too many ways for someone to screw up the system without realising it or there's many options that if explained could be better used.
Would I buy again - Yes, but only if there was a way to lock the settings menu so that they can't be changed by accident.
